Movage Moving & Storage

These movers were moving someone out of the building I live in. They did not care about safety of other people in the building, as they decided to keep the front door to the building unlocked, and wide open. I've asked them to please keep the door closed, and the guy at the lobby entrance started laughing at me, as you can see him doing so in the picture. The other guy, standing by the door to exit the building got nasty, too. I understand the need to earn a living, but when you do that at the cost of the people's safety, I feel it's wrong.

Recently I Moved with Movage Moving from my old place to my new apartment at Upper east Side NYC. Excellent service. From the first time I called I got to speak with the owner and he personally gave me an estimate.we got the specific dates for pick up and drop off in new york. everything arrived as planned and Promised. No dammage anda  big smile on our faces. This is a family owned and operated business which gives the whole experience a much more personal touch. I was impressed with the way the employees handle my furniture and items. Movers were extremely polite and professional and The price I was given was the price I paid.All in all, affordable, friendly, and absolutely trustworthy. I am so happy I called them.

We recived a very good service from management to the crew everything was taken care of in a very professional way. They came in, carefully packed my apartment and delivered my stuff when they said they would.When we got to my new home the movers unloaded everything pretty quick and reassemble what needed to be in the right rooms. Nothing was broken or missing and It was a very good experience. Wll be sure to sue your services again and a special thx to Marry and rivka at your main Office.

Movage Moving & Storage team was professional and courteous. We have over 20 years history of moving internationally and this was the least stressful. The dispatch and contact staff were responsive and provided accurate information. The three gentlemen who unloaded our personal items were confident, careful and followed a procedure that reflected experience and impressive training. Thank you!

We have never had a great experience with movers, but this was by far the worst nightmare EVER. We chose this company because they said they had such great reviews and they were certified and professional. Our experience was anything but.

Christian gave me a quote over the internet based on my guess at our inventory. I wanted a flat rate move, so he sent Luca to take an inventory of our apartment and quote us a flat rate move. He came and took the inventory, created a contract and told me this means there would be "NO SURPRISE CHARGES" - which couldn't have been further from the truth.

The day of the move comes, and our movers on the NYC side were fast and prompt. But as they were loading the truck they informed us Luca had misjudged the number of boxes we had BY ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY BOXES! And the charge to move our stuff would literally double. We then spent an hour on the phone with a manager who attempted to reassure us by telling us this happens to tons of people. Doesn't that give you an idea that your system is flawed? He gives us a "discount" by only charging us an extra $1000.

Five days later, our stuff arrives in Texas. We knew it would come in an 18 wheeler, but when they arrive there is literally 5 degree incline in our driveway they say they can't get the truck up the driveway. They try to convince us we should hire day laborers and our own U-Haul truck and do the move ourselves. This would negate any security we paid, so we decline. They then tell us they are going to charge us an additional $500 to move all our stuff to a U Haul and drive it in later that night. They also threaten us that because they showed up on a Saturday at 6pm they might have to sleep over, and we'd have to pay for that too.

The next morning the very same truck was parked in our parking lot. Oddly enough, the movers COULD get the truck down the driveway the next day.

This was the most expensive, horrific experience ever. They were complete hucksters who wanted to steal as much money as possible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Movers on time. Both very energetic and polite and interested in my goals. The moving of boxes and pictures went very smoothly. This happened even though there were articles on different floors. They transported the objects quickly and showed up at my house on time and were already unloading when I arrived. The movement of boxes, etc to the house went smoothly also and the whole process was completely much more quickly than I expected. The company can be proud. From the way phones were answered at the onset , then the scheduling and then the actual move it could not have gone better. I have already recommended the company to two of my friends.

Top notch. Four hard-working, fast-moving fellas did a great job moving an overstuffed apartment. Working from a detailed inventory, Christian provided an easy-to-use online estimate, firm and flat. He accommodated us with changes a couple of times as inventory changed. A few days before the move, we learned stairs were involved at both locations, which resulted in a modest and reasonable increase. On the moving day itself, tight deadlines at two destinations were easily met. Recommended.

Movage really did a fantastic job on our long-distance move. We moved from a one-bedroom in NYC to another one-bedroom in Washington DC, but had to store almost everything for about 2 and a half months over the summer. Movage handled our two moves (one from the NYC apartment to storage, and the other from storage to our DC apartment) perfectly. Even though our quote from Movage was about half as much as quotes from other companies, Movage was constantly professional and did a really great job. Luca was our customer service rep, and he was great at letting me know all the information I needed. Our moving team was also excellent--they took great care in packing up all of our furniture and things that weren't in boxes, and everything came to us perfectly intact. I would defnintely use Movage again, and would recommend them to my friends/family!

I recently moved from New Jersey to Ohio and I hired Movage Inc for our moving. The three guys who came to pick up our furniture and boxes were really efficient and quick. In barely 2 hours they took all our stuff and charged inside their truck. They handled our belongings in a very careful way. We got our furniture in 5 days, just one day after we had moved to our new house. The delivery crew was very careful with our furniture and boxes and everything arrived in excellent condition.

I would recommend them for long distance move.

I want especially to thank [NAME EDIT] and [NAME EDIT] (not sure how to spell his name) and all the movers from pick up to delivery who made this move happen. The final bill was in line with the original estimate. My possessions had to be transferred to a small truck for final delivery; I knew this had to be done in advance because of community regulations, and I was told by Movage, Inc. at the outset what the ballpark costs would be. There was only one minor glitch, but I was informed that the delivery could be late. All the movers worked quickly, carefully, and professionally. I definitely recommend them for any move. My move was from New Jersey to Florida.

Thank you for a great move at the last minute, you were able to fit in and schedule a time later that worked best for us. They really paid close attention to detail with my move. The price was right and the movers were right on point. They finished loading in record time and drove straight through to deliver the same in there express long distnce service trucks.!! both sides they Worked hard and moved quickly while being careful with all of my stuff.  deliverey was done on the expected time. All in all our belongings reached the destination without any breakage or damages. The guys did an amazing job and I am glad I hired them. thanks!!

100% thrilled with our experience with Movage-Moving, Teterboro, New Jersey. CHRISTIAN from the sales team is an expert in providing clear information. Honest and reliable team. Team members arrived on time, respectful, efficient, friendly, informative. While we know as the customer it is important to have clear details provided to the company so there are no surprises for either sides- the move out was like clock work. We moved our items to a temp. storage unit until we can move to our new apt.. We will be using the same team and can not feel more confident that the move from the storage unit to the new apt is just as smooth. (fingers crossed the new apt. building we are moving to will have the elevator access blocked for us as promised so we can have the same experience for all of us.)
